Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

Welcome to Sessiontail. By accessing our website, using our CLI tools, or publishing and browsing coding agent sessions, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Platform Overview

Sessiontail provides infrastructure and tools for developers to record, sanitize, publish, share, and continue AI coding agent sessions (such as Claude Code and Codex). You may browse public sessions, download session bundles (.sesh), and fork sessions to continue on your local machine.

2. Local Sanitization & User Responsibility

All session sanitization is performed locally on your machine before upload. You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming that sensitive information—including API keys, passwords, proprietary code, personal data, and confidential credentials—has been redacted prior to publishing. Sessiontail does not inspect or redact content after transmission.

3. Content Ownership & Licenses

You retain all rights and ownership of the original code, prompt text, and sessions you publish. When you publish a session as public or unlisted, you grant Sessiontail and its users a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, replicate, and fork the session for developer learning and collaborative continuation.

4. Acceptable Use & Conduct

You agree not to use Sessiontail to distribute malware, violate any applicable laws or intellectual property rights, upload illegal or abusive materials, or interfere with the normal operation of the platform or CLI bridge services.

5. Takedown & Termination

We reserve the right to remove, unpublish, or restrict access to any session, project, or account that violates these terms, infringes upon third-party rights, or poses security risks, without prior notice.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Sessiontail is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We make no warranties regarding code correctness, model behavior, or reproducibility of agent runs. In no event shall Sessiontail be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service or execution of community sessions.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
